The Atollo Project Featured on Croatian National Television
On Monday, 24 February 2025, the Atollo Project was proudly featured on Croatian National Television (HRT), showcasing its growing impact on the education of children with learning difficulties.
Kristina Ferara Blašković and Nola Santini from Profil Klett, along with Sanja Alimović from the University of Zagreb, appeared on the programme to share insights into the project’s inclusive and digital approach to education.
During the broadcast, the project’s goals, partner organisations, and mission were introduced. It was highlighted that the consortium had undertaken a comprehensive curriculum analysis across participating countries to identify common learning outcomes and differences in special education practices. This research laid the foundation for the development of new digital learning materials in mathematics, tailored to support students with special educational needs.
A key feature of the segment was the demonstration of the Atollo IZZI Digital platform, which showcased a variety of interactive publications across different mathematics levels. The materials are designed to engage students while also serving as a valuable resource for teachers.
Importantly, the broadcast emphasised that the Atollo Project’s impact extends beyond providing materials. It also empowers teachers, offering them the training and tools needed to better support their students in an inclusive classroom environment.
This national television appearance brought much-needed visibility to the Atollo Project’s work and underscored the importance of collaborative initiatives in building a more equitable education system for children with intellectual challenges.
