Train the Trainer Programme Successfully Completed – Atollo Project Enters Pilot Testing Phase
We are excited to share a major milestone in our Atollo project journey! The Train-the-Trainer programme has officially been completed, marking a key step in preparing schools and educators to begin piloting the digital learning materials in their classrooms.
Each participating school selected one school coordinator to take on the role of a trainer. Profil Klett held two online training sessions for trainers at the end of February 2025 — the first in English, and the second in Croatian, due to the large number of participating schools from Croatia.
During the training sessions, attendees received essential information about the Atollo project, including the roles and responsibilities of trainers and teachers within the pilot programme, as well as the overall timeline. Beyond logistical details, the sessions provided practical guidance on the structure of the educational content, how it is organised on the Atollo IZZI platform, and a demonstration of how to navigate the platform to support students with diverse needs in achieving their mathematical and digital competencies.
Following the centralised sessions, trainers began organising localised training sessions in their respective languages for teachers and parents/guardians. These sessions aimed to ensure that all educators involved in the pilot were well-prepared and had access to the necessary knowledge, tools, and resources. Materials such as presentations, a Teacher Manual, and a list of learning outcomes for each digital unit were provided.
With this solid foundation in place, we are proud to announce that the Atollo project has now entered the pilot testing phase across three countries – Croatia, Bulgaria, and Germany – involving 15 schools. This crucial phase will allow us to test and refine the digital learning content, gather valuable feedback, and improve the units to better support students with diverse needs.
We would like to thank all trainers, partners, and teachers for their dedication and contributions so far.
Stay tuned for further updates!
